As usual the holidays do not mean the Sqn stops! On Friday 31 Mar cadets attended RAF Benson to go Air Experience Flying. However for the first time in many months the weather beat us and was unsuitable for flying. However all was not lost as WO Phil Wright organised a last minute visit to 28 (AC) Sqn who fly the Westland Merlin Battlefield support helicopter, enabling the cadets to see this new item of RAF kit up close and personel.
On Saturday cadets and staff left for the long journey to Fort William in the Scottish West Highlands where mountaineering training will be carried out to prepare the team for the summer expedition to the Alps
On Wednesday 04 April cadets attended Pirbright Ranges to live fire the L98 5.56mm rifle on a 25m Range.
The following Cadets qualified for their Wing Marksman:
Cdt Sinclair A
and finally Sgt Kirsty Troy departed for a camp in sunny Cyprus!
