241 brings the Inness Sword home

After 2 years of disappointment, 241 Squadron has won London Wing’s Inness Sword competition to bring the Sword home to Woodford and go on to represent London Wing at the Elworthy competition. The Innes Sword is the premier competition in London Wing and involves teams of 8 cadets participating in 8 military skills challenges. This year the Sqn achieved the following results (out of 24 teams participating):

Obstacle Course – 1st
Stretcher Race – 1st
Drill – 1st
Shooting – 1st
Observation Task – 3rd
Orienteering – 4th
Command Task – 4th
First Aid – 6th

Fg Off Harvey and 3 cadets also won the Wing Commanders Challenge Cup on the Obstacle Course. A big well done to the Team and Fg Off Brogden-Knight who was the Team Manager.
