A Wet Crowborough

The Sqn, together with 1838 Sqn, deployed over 100 Cadets and Staff to Crowborough Training Camp in East Sussex over the weekend of 26 -28 March to carry out a wide variety of practical training.

Cadets of 63 Recruit Flights carried out basic training including Obstacles Courses, Drill, Leadership training and a Night Navigation Exercise with those cadets passing the course and being awarded their coverted Black Witch Flash.
Other cadets deployed to the Training Area, to carry out Fieldcraft Training under the auspices of ACP16 in a challenging and robust environment with several phases of training to cater for various experience levels. All these cadets had to erect personal shelters know as Bashas to sleep out in, cook and eat compo rations as well as navigate around the area carrying out various tasks, inspite of the heavy burst of rain over the weekend.
The photos show cadets on the Camp Obstacle Course, Cdt Raj demonstrating how not to cross a rope bridge and Cdt Babur still cheerfull despite the rain!
