Cadets have just returned from a week at RAF Leuchars in Scotland, home of the Tornado F3 Fighter Force, tasked with the air defence of the Northern UK.
Together with cadets from Lewisham and Shoreditch 18 of our cadets experienced a week of life with the RAF, with all cadets being able to get up close to a Tornado F3, live fire the No8 and L98 rifles, take part in section visits to various units on the base, such as the RAF Regiment, Air Traffic Control, Fire Section, and Aircraft Maintence Flight.
They also worked closely with the Station ACLO Team (regular personel who assist with the camp) and Gaz and Posh definately made their mark with the cadets!
Cdt Hollie Fox commented "Well this was my first annual, and I didn’t really know what to expect; But it was SOOO Good! I cannot wait to go again!"
In addition all cadets were able to fly in an Army Gazelle Helicopter during the week.
