Over the last week of July 17 Cadets from the Squadron attended a weeks camp at RAF Wittering near Peterborough. Home of the RAFs Expeditionary Logisitics capability, together with other cadets from London Wing. An opportunity to see the RAF at work and play for a week, the cadets had the opportunity to visit Bomb Disposal, Catering Squadron, RAF Regiment and other units on the statio, as well as taking part in flying at RAF Wyton, shooting the L98 rifle, use of the DCCT range, use of the high ropes course, gym and heritgae visits to Duxford and the American Cemetary at Madingley. At the end of the camp Cpl Alfie Benjafield was named as the Best NCO and Cdts Muzycheck and Murphy as the best first timers. Cdt Manku said “This was a great camp and I cant wait for the next one!”.
