Cadets busy as usual

Over the last two weekends cadets have been busy on different activities. These have included a days practical navigation exercise around Abridge in Essex, where the cadets were taught the complexities of navigation with map and compass, and then over the last weekend a full scale Bronze Duke of Edinboroughs practise expedition, attended by over 30 cadets,  over two days in rural Essex camping overnight at Gilwell Park. On the previous Sunday a party of cadets had represented the Sqn at London Wing Athletics with a number of the cadets being selected for the Wing Team in 400m, Discuss and Shot Put. Finally on Sunday 19 May the shooting team fired the last Pre Bisley practise on the Cadet Target Rifle at Ash Ranges, and now awaits to see how many teams will be selected for the main July National Competition.
