Cadets go Welsh!

Over the weekend of 15 – 18 February 12 cadets from the Squadron attended Caple Curig Training Camp in Snowdonia, North Wales to carry out mountain walking in the challenging enviroment of the National Park. For most this was preperation for their Silver Expeditions in August, and enabled them to train on navigation, fitness, mountain skills and emergency drills under the supervision of Fg Off Nick Harvey and WO Lee Morris, two of the Squadrons most experienced Mountain Leaders. Fortunately the weather was reasonable, and even the sun was seen on the Sunday. Routes were undertaken around the Glwydr mountains to the east of Snowdon.
