Cadets keep busy

Over the weekend of 10 -11 March Cadets from the Squadron were engaged on a number of activities, with 10 cadets flying at RAF Wyton on the Tutor aerobatic trainer, whilst others were assist with car parking and organisation for the Colebrook Royals Football Club open day at Grange Farm, attended by footballing celebrities such as Sir Trevor Brooking. The cadets were essential to the smooth operation of the day and raised the Sqns profile in the local community. On the Sunday the Sqn Shooting Team attended Stoeny Castle Range to start the 2012 Target Rifle Season on the L81 Target Rifle, firing at distances up to 500 metres in preperation to qualify for the Bisley Competition in July. Meanwhile other cadets where firing the L98 Cadet Rifle on Ash Ranges with 2 cadets qualifying for marksman badges.
