Over the half term weekends cadets from the Sqnhave been busy on a variety of events, including core activities of the air Cadets, flying and shooting. On Sunday 23 October cadets attended an L98 Shooting day on Pirbight ranges with other cadets from London Wing firing the standard cadet rifle on marksmanship practises on targets up to 300 metres distant. Useful preperation for those cadets going to represent the Sqn and Wing at the Annual Inter Services L98 Shoot later in October. Cdt Linstead also qualified for a Wing Marksman. On Saturday 29 October 18 cadetstook to the skies over Cambridge in the Grob Tutos of No5 Air Experience Flight, with 6 cadets going flying for the first time. Many of the cadets carried out aerobatics under the supervision of the pilots, with cuban eights being a particualr favourite of the date.
