Crowborough and other activities

On the Weekend of 15 – 17 Sep, the Sqn deployed to Crowborough Training Camp to carry out recruit training for Cadets who have not yet achieved the coveted Sqn ‘Black Witch’ Flash. The Recruits were put through their paces by the Training Team and carried out an intense programme of sport, drill, obstacle courses, night navigation training and leadership trg.

Those who passed where award their Badge on the Sunday afternoon and Cdt Dutch was awarded the Best Recruit of the Course Trophy.

Meanwhile, the Sqn Drill and Inness Sword Teams were carrying out pre competition training under the careful tuition of AWO Wright and ASgt Jerome.

Elsewhere Cadets collected in Loughton High Road for the RAFA Battle of Britain Wings Week Collection and 13 Cadets represented the Sqn at the National Battle of Britain Day Service at Westminster Abbey in the presence of Prince Charles.
