On Sunday 27 July, whilst cadets were in the Lake District on their Gold and Silver practise expeditions, other cadets attended the Community Safety Day at Woodford Fire Station to run a recruting stand and to learn more about the work of the emergency services, seeing the Fire Service, Police and Ambulance demonstrate their skills including destroying a car to free simulated casualtues. Cadets also had the oportunity to try aerial platforms and interact with police dogs (as modelled by FS Dan Goldman!).
