For the first time cadets from 1801 Alnwick Sqn, Northumberland Wing also attended the course, courtsey of their service helper (and ours), Plt Off Jason Reuben.
The week is run from a bunkhouse at Glennriding on the shores of Ulswater, and consists of a course to take absolute beginners and train them to be able to walk, navigate and survive in all weathers in the hills. The culmination of the course is a two day expedition without the Instructors and Staff being present.
In addition Staff continuation training was carried out with several Solo routes being carried out as well as various climbing routes.
