Myles gets Airborne

Corporal Myles Webb was recently a guest of 55R Sqn at RAF College Cranwell in Lincolnshire together with other senior cadets from London Wing Squadrons. The visit was organised by Wg Cmdr Mark Manwering, a former cadet in the old West Essex Wing, and enabled the cadets to get a hands on look at life on the RAFs navigation training unit, flying the Domine jet trainer. As part of  the visit the cadets where able to fly in the Domines and experience a typical navigation sortie. Myles said “this was a great trip and gave me an excellent view of the pressures and exhieration of military flying”.

The photos show the Domine aircraft, Myles in flight and the London Wing Team at 55 Sqn.
