New Staff on the Unit

The Sqn has seen a considerable amount of movement in the Adult Staff over the last year, haveing lost 3 Officers, 2 to the Regular Armed Forces. However we have now made up the deficeit with new staff joing the team.

Holly Brogden Knight and Matt Davies have been promoted to Pilot Officer in the RAF Volunteer Reserve (Training) Branch after passing Boards at both Wing and Region Level. Holly has responsbility for BTEC, DoE and visits to Service Establishments and Matt is responsible for Staff and NCO Development and Training, as well as most things "Green".

Michelle Cheah has been appointed as an Adult Sargent after passing her Wing Board. Michelle will be taking responsibilty for Drill, Weapons Training and Office Administration.

Kate Channon has been appointed a Civilian Instructor, and will be running the Jack Petchy Award and acting as Matts second in command.

These staff are now working toward qualifications in Mountain Leadership, Range Work, Obstacle Courses as well as taking on areas of responsibility on the Sqn with organising events such as Crowborough Exercises and annual Camps.
