RAF Lyneham Camp

Cadets from the Sqn attended an annual camp at RAF Lyneham over the half term week, with cadets from 4F, 27F, 34F, 338 and 1838 Sqns of London Wing.

The camp was an opportunity to see the RAF at work and play at a very busy operational station, the home of the Hercules transport aircraft. Cadets took part in work experience, "flew" in the Simulator, conducted a night exercise, went shooting, swimming, bowling and visited many sections on the stations, assisted the Army in setting and clearing a drop zone on Salisbury Plain for Hercules dropping supplies, visited the Naval museum at Yeovilton and the Commando Helicopter Force at that base, and basically didn’t stop!
