Shooting Camp

Cadets from the Sqn attended the annual L81 Shooting Camp held at Pirbright over the weekend of 19 – 20 Apr.

Designed to give intensive live fire practise on the Target Rifle at distances up to 500 yards to all cadets in the shooting team over two days the expert tution of the Sqn coaches (CIs Grant, Hawes, Pisano and ICdt Filer) ensure that some excellent scores were racked up by the Sunday, with two 67/70 scores recorded.

The range was shared with Middlesex Wing Team and on the Sunday with the Sea Cadet Corps and a party of visiting Australian Navy Cadets.

The Saturday evening saw the now tradtional Team Indian meal in a local restuarent.

Cpl Sinclair and Cdt Dutch A qualified for their Corps Marksman Badge, Cdt Hargreaves for his Region Marksman and Cdt Murphy for her Squadron Marksman.
