Staff train to lead

A number of the Staff on the Squadron have recenlty attended courses to enable them to deliver high quality training to the cadets. Plt Off Kirs Pisano attended her Officers Initial Course at RAF College Cranwell, which equips junior officers with the tools to deal with their role with the Air Cadets and wider RAF. Kris also passed out as the Top Student on her course, which is an excellent achievement, and is now enrolled in the Institute of Leadership and Managment qualification system. Sgt Dan Goldman has also recently returned from his Initial Senior NCO Course at the Adult Training Facility at Cranwell, which has a similar aim for SNCOs, but with more drill!

Fg Off Holly Brogden-Knight, WO Lee Morris and Sgt Dan Goldman have completed an Obstacle Supervisors Course at the Hounslow Cavarly Barracks last month, and are now qualified to lead cadets over Army Obstacle Courses as part of adventourous and challenging training. OC 241 Sqn Ldr Godden stated “This is typical of the commitment of the adult staff to gaining worthwhile qualification which will directly benefit the cadets and enables us as a Sqn to offer a full range of activities to all ranks”.
