The start of a Flying Career?

16 cadets attended 6 AEF at RAF Benson on Wednesday 03 Oct to experience the thrills of flying with the RAF. Lift off was delayed by the visit of the Secretary of State for Defence, Des Brown, who was also visiting the station to see a new Sqn of Merlin helicopters, but the cadets used the time to visit the Air Traffic Control Tower, and were then all flown in the fully areobatic Grob Tutor.

For most of the cadets this was the first time they had been flying with the Sqn, and for some this may end up stimulating a career in aviation, or the award of Flying Scholarships!
